An associate’s degree in hospitality management will prepare you for a career in the hospitality industry through coursework and internships with airlines, resorts, travel agencies, and other businesses within the field. Students will learn the basics of hospitality management and general business skills in this two year program.
A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management gives you the management and leadership skills needed to fill managerial positions within the hospitality industry. Bachelor’s degree programs require 4 years of study and provide a general education as well as training in hospitality management, convention planning, destination services management, travel, tourism, recreation, purchasing, and often culinary arts. Student who are working towards a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management often choose to focus on casino management, club management, food and beverage management, lodging management, or tourism and event management.
An MBA in hospitality management will combine general business management skills with skills and knowledge specific to the hospitality industry. Graduates of a master’s degree program will go on to lead some of the biggest organizations within the industry. You must have already earned a bachelor’s degree to be eligible to enroll in a master’s degree program.
Certificate and diploma programs are also available to those who wish to get some basic training in hospitality management. Students will learn basic business skills and can brush up on new developments in the hospitality, tourism, and travel industries.

Hospitality Management degree holders can find work as hotel managers, event planners, travel agents, and many other professions.
