Electronics/Electronic Systems
You can train for a career working with computer, communications, consumer electronics, navigation, or military equipment through an electronics engineering or engineering technician program. Programs for electronics engineers give you the right background to design, develop, and supervise the manufacture of electronic equipment. Engineering technician programs prepare you to assist with product development and manufacturing. Engineering technicians also install and repair equipment.

Master’s programs are also available for students who already hold bachelor’s degrees in engineering as well as unrelated fields. Engineering technician programs are often 2-year associates degrees.
