Respiratory Therapist
The minimum education you need to become a respiratory therapist is an associate degree, but a bachelor’s or master’s degree is important if you want to advance. Every state except Alaska and Hawaii requires certification of respiratory therapists. To obtain this credential, you must complete and accredited program and pass an exam. Many employers require that you also be certified in CPR.
