Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

To become a certified nursing assistant, you need to complete 75 hours of training and pass a competency test. After you do this, your name is placed on a state registry of nursing assistants. CNA programs teach you to perform direct patient care and assist with medical procedures, such as range of motion exercises.
