Often called legal assistants, paralegals are an attorney’s right arm. They interview clients, conduct investigations, assist the attorney in preparing for trials , hearings, closings and meetings. Paralegals also work for federal and local courts and other municipal agencies. Many corporations and other private firms also utilize a paralegal’s skills in their legal departments.
