Andover College Early Childhood Education (Associate's degree)
The Early Childhood Program can provide students an education that will prepare them for work either directly with young children and their families, or in related service and programs. This program gives students the opportunity to have a thorough understanding of developmentally appropriate practices as set by the NAEYC, be an advocate for ethical practices in all early childhood settings, understand the developmental stages of childhood and gain experiences in a variety of early childhood settings including special needs, public schools, and child care centers. This program is set in a learning environment that uses traditional and innovative instructional methods and promotes a student-centered learning environment in which faculty and staff are accessible and supportive.
