Medical Assisting (Associate's degree)

The Andover College Medical Assisting Program can provide students an education that will prepare them with demonstrated technical skills, work ethic, and professional values to enter the medical assisting workforce. This program provides a learning environment that uses traditional and innovative instructional methods, materials, and equipment as well as gives students access to library collections and learning resources. Students have the opportunity to gain an understanding of diverse society and health care needs as well as develop and maintain educational partnerships with business, labor and public sector agencies. Graduates of this program may be eligible to sit for the registered Medical Assistant (RMA) examination sponsored by the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
