Argosy University
Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology (A.A.S.)

Radiologic technologists provide caring communication to patients while taking quality radiographs in hospitals, doctors’ offices, and imaging centers. Graduates apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, positioning, radiographic technique, and patient care to assist radiologists and other physicians in diagnosing injuries and illness. Technologists may also manage radiographic film, evaluate radiologic and computer equipment, perform quality assurance procedures and provide patient education relevant to procedures performed.

The Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology degree program leads to eligibility to take the national registry exam offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Registered radiologic technologists are eligible to seek additional training in magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography scanning, nuclear medicine, mammography and other unique imaging modalities.

As with all Argosy University programs in the College of Health Sciences, most graduates of this program who choose to work in their chosen fields will be successfully placed within six months of graduation.
