Associate of Applied Science in Radiation Therapy (A.A.S.)
Radiation Therapists administer prescribed doses of ionizing radiation to specific areas of the body for the treatment of cancer. Not only do they manage the technicalities of their field, but they also develop an understanding of and compassion for cancer patients and their families.
The mission of the program is to provide the medical community with entry-level radiation therapists. The program provides the students with knowledge and technical skills, a broad based general education, and an understanding of and compassion for cancer patients and their families.
