Colorado Technical University Associate in Electronics Technology
Both private business and the government rely on sophisticated electronic equipment for a multitude of applications: manufacturing and production processes, communication systems, power plant operations, missile control and guidance, engineering test, and embedded control systems. Individuals with knowledge of analog and digital electronics are in demand, especially in commercial enterprises such as integrated circuit (IC) companies and telecommunications firms.
The Associate of Science in Electronics Technology (ASET) is designed to provide foundational skills for this exciting career field as well as a solid undergraduate education. The ASET degree program also comprises the first two years of either the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCE) degree programs.
Students must have a relatively strong math background in order to be successful in the ASET degree program.
