The Associate of Science in Medical Assisting (ASMA) degree program is designed to help prepare you to perform various technical and administrative skills as a member of a health care team in various settings. You can develop skills in phlebotomy, electrocardiograms, medication administration, minor surgical techniques, emergency medical procedures, and office procedures.
Successful completion of the ASMA degree program can give you an opportunity to sit for the national certification examination to become a Registered Medical Assistant.*
