Data Entry Specialist - Diploma

Data Entry Specialist is a program designed to teach students entry-level skills and abilities to introduce them to the administrative career field. Graduates of this program will be able to perform entry-level clerical functions and basic data entry. They will learn the basics of spreadsheets, and databases. They will learn how to create presentation material using desktop publishing software. They will be able to maintain computerized filing and inventory systems. They will be able to create basic correspondence documents using word processing software and access information using the Internet and WWW. Graduates of the program may find employment as receptionists, data entry clerks and entry-level general office clerks. These office positions are available in corporate offices and small companies, as well as government administrative positions.
