Colorado Technical University BS in Health Services Administration
The Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration (BSHSA) degree program is designed for students with an Associate’s degree in a health services field. In addition, those with an Associate’s degree in another unrelated program but are working in the healthcare field may be eligible for admission. This program is designed to prepare the student to become a leader in a health services organization.
The BSHSA degree program also includes a unique opportunity to spend two quarters in a healthcare organization exploring the intricacies of health services administration. During these two quarters, you will be asked to identify and implement a performance improvement or management project that can enhance your understanding of the field while offering a tangible benefit to the healthcare organization. At the completion of the externship, you will be expected to make a professional presentation to the host organization and your peers.
