The design of this program provides the student with the basic understanding of the fundamentals of massage. Through lecture and hands-on instruction in Swedish techniques, pathology and anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, the student is prepared to successfully enter the massage industry. The program also provides information in various additional techniques currently practiced in massage therapy clinics. At the end of this program, students are prepared to sit for the national certification examination.
