As a Radiologic Technologist, you are an integral part of the medical imaging team. Your responsibilities may include creating X-ray images with a variety of equipment in patients’ hospital rooms and in surgical suites, positioning patients, as well as exposing and developing X-ray films in the hospital X-ray department. Combining patient care skills with experience in the use of high-tech scientific diagnostic equipment, “Rad Techs” work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to produce diagnostic images of patients.
