The objective of the Associate Degree Nursing program is to provide the student with the appropriate theory and hands-on skills required to prepare them for nursing positions in health care centers clinics and facilities.
At the completion of this program, the nursing student will be prepared to take the NCLEX-RN exam. After passing the exam, the individual may use the title of Registered Nurse (RN).
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, healthcare occupations are projected to create more than 3 million new job openings between by 2014, including 600,000 RN positions.
