Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology/Marriage & Family Therapy (M.A.)
Is this your destination? Or your first step? The Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Psychology program can serve as either a terminal degree if you’re looking to gain licensure, or as a preliminary step toward the doctoral degree. You’ll learn theoretical and clinical skills to provide mental health services to diverse populations. You can use this program as a benchmark to determine your interest in the pursuit of more advanced study. In either case, two years of coursework, including a year long practicum, leads to the acquisition of diagnostic and therapy skills.
