Kaplan College Certificate - Clinical Massage Therapy
The objective of the Clinical Massage Therapy Certificate program is for students to obtain the skills required by healthcare and personal service employers in a myriad of settings including salons, fitness centers, medical offices, hospitals, rehabilitation and chiropractic clinics, and resorts. Students will learn the basics of Swedish, sports and chair massage; anatomy; physiology; pathology; massage ethics; and more. Graduates may qualify for employment in a wide variety of settings, or they may even begin their own massage practices. Graduates of this program are eligible to sit for national certification through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
