The Legal Studies Bachelor of Science Degree continues the Central Penn tradition of providing quality legal education. The program is designed to:

• Build on the success of the Paralegal Program and allow a smooth transition into the bachelor program

• Offer the opportunity for students who have earned an associate degree from another institution to further his/her education

• Offer paralegals currently employed in the field the opportunity to obtain a bachelors degree

The program offers an exceptional level of preparation for a paralegal career or a pre-law education through a program of courses which includes hands-on study of legal research, legal writing, drafting legal memo and legal briefs, drafting of legal documents, mock trial and substantive and procedural law in a variety of fields.
