Associate - Medical Assisting

The Medical Assisting program prepares students with advanced training in the administrative and clinical aspects of contemporary healthcare. The student is required to complete a 300ñhour externship at a clinic, physician’s office, hospital, or other allied health facility. Graduates of this program may provide a wide range of clinical and administrative duties, including: time management of staff, trouble-shooting for improving cost management, collecting and arranging data for travel and seminar activities, working in advanced phlebotomy and pharmacology, medical transcription and managerial skills.
