Associate - Network Engineering Technology

The Network Engineering Technology program prepares students with the knowledge, the technical skills, and the work habits required for entry-level positions in Network Administration, Network Engineering, Internet Support, or Information System Planning. The program provides the student with in-depth knowledge to effectively plan, implement, maintain, and support information systems in computer and networking environments. Hands-on network hardware and software installation, configuration, upgrade, and support of microcomputers will be covered, in addition to both theoretical and hands-on applications of realñworld situations relating to the MCSE professional. Implementation of Internet products and technologies will be incorporated under the Windows NTÆ environment. Duties for graduates of this program may include hardware implementation of various network topologies, system configurations, upgrades and repairs of both stand-alone and network microcomputers. This course includes extensive preparation for the A+ and MCSE certifications.
