 The Medical Assistant Comprehensive program objective is to provide the training that meets the requirements of today’s health care practitioners.

The Medical Assistant Comprehensive course also provides the neccessary skills to assist specialty physicians as well as develop the critical thinking skills of the Medical Assistant. 



A specialized training partnership has been formed between Children’s Community Pediatrics (CCP), a subsidiary of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and our school. Students in the Medical Assistant Comprehensive program who have a special interest in working with children, will have the opportunity to have a practical learning experience via a CCP externship in an environment dedicated to quality care for children.



Upon completion of the Medical Assistant training in this program, the graduate will be awarded an Associate in Specialized (AST) Degree. The Medical Assistant training in this course leads to developing skills in both clinical and administrative, relating to skills and expertise in working in numerous medical specialty areas, so employment may be found in a numerous areas both regionally and nationally.
