New England Institute of Technology

New England Tech is southern New England’s largest, private technical college offering over 30 Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree programs in Warwick, Rhode Island and Online with over 280,000 square feet of laboratory and classroom facilities.

When New England Tech opened its doors in 1940, technology was in its infancy. The family radio was the entertainment center, and computers were only seen in science fiction movies!

Today, as the leader in technical career education in Southeastern New England, NEIT offers Associate’s and Bachelor’s of Science degrees in 29 programs. Each one has been thoughtfully designed with input from both educators and industry experts.

Each Associate and Bachelor of Science degree program is taught with a powerful combination of technical expertise and hands-on training. The heart and soul of these programs are the teachers. Dedicated NEIT instructors bring exceptional talent, expertise, and practical, real-world experience to their students.

An open-admissions institution, NEIT welcomes students from all backgrounds, with no previous experience required. Classes begin in January, March/April, July, and October. Most Associate’s Degree programs can be completed in as little as 18 months, and Bachelor’s of Science programs in as little as 3 years.

New England Tech, a private, non-profit technical college, is located in Warwick, Rhode Island, and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. (NEASC). Many of our programs maintain individual accreditation as well. For example, our Electronics Engineering Technology program at the Bachelor’s level is accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission (TAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
