The Court Reporting Institute of Dallas was founded in 1978 and has since grown to become the largest, most successful court reporting college in the United States. In 2002, the college opened a campus in Houston to offer high quality court reporting education to the southern region of Texas. And in 2006, the college launched a 100% online court reporting program so that we could provide outstanding court reporting education to people across the nation.

We are extremely proud of our college’s heritage and achievements. In addition to being one of the few colleges in the U.S. that offers an Associate’s Degree in court reporting , CRID is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Independent Colleges and Schools, approved by the National Court Reporters Association, and licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission.
