At UIU, your schedule can be flexible—if you attend in person, you’ll have the convenience of evening or weekend classes. Plus, with six 8-week terms per year, you can accelerate your learning and move quickly through your coursework.

Depending on your situation, you can select the method of learning that is most convenient for you:

  • Classroom Study. You’ll attend classes in person and build relationships with fellow students and your professors at one of our independent off-campus centers.
  • Online Study. With this method, you have the opportunity to earn your degree anywhere you want as you do the work via the Internet—at home, at work or wherever you are.
  • Independent Study. Through this convenient program, you can study at your own pace, submitting your lessons and assignments by e-mail, fax, or mail.

Not only is an Upper Iowa education convenient, it’s affordable, too. Tuition at UIU is very competitive, and we are transfer-credit friendly (meaning that you can often bring up to 90 credits previously earned at other institutions with you) which can save you both time and tuition.
