Metropolitan College of New York has developed a unique experientially based curriculum which links theory and practice and allows students to graduate in less time than other colleges, even while working full time. And, since students are required to demonstrate the practical side of their learning, jobs or internships become settings where they are able to apply their studies.
It is a most efficient way to learn and accelerate toward completing your degree. MCNY students go to school full-time and work full-time. They get their degrees faster and they continue to earn money because they don’t have to quit their jobs or cut back to a part-time schedule to go to school.
That’s what we mean by education that works. MCNY features 3 semesters a year so students can:
Earn an Associate’s Degree in 1 year and 4 months;
Earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, American Urban Studies (Liberal Arts), or Human Services in 2 2/3 years or even less, with applicable transfer credits;
Earn a Master of Public Administration, or The MPA in Emergency & Disaster Management (Note: The MPA in Emergency & Disaster Management is a 16 month program.)
Earn a Masters in Childhood Education (Note: The MS in Education requires some day availability for classes and student teaching.)
Earn a MBA in Media Management or General Management in one year; or a MBA in Financial Services in 16 months.
Our school is located in the heart of New York City – at the crossroads of Soho and Tribeca.
For over 40 years, Metropolitan College of New York has offered thousands of New Yorkers “Education that Works.”
